Howard Richardson is an Enrolled Agent, a federally authorized tax practitioner empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in administrative matters regarding audits, appeals and collections. Enrolled Agents have unlimited practice rights before the IRS. Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential awarded by the IRS.

Currently, Mr. Richardson is a CPA Candidate and has passed all four sections of the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination required for licensure in all US jurisdictions.

He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Tax Section and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA).

He has served in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) where he provided tax preparation services for low-to-moderate income individuals, seniors, persons with disabilities and limited English proficiency.
